  1. Lighthouse Academies opens schools in Indiana (Indianapolis Lighthouse and Gary Lighthouse) and the District of Columbia (Potomac Lighthouse)

  1. The Lighthouse Network expands to Chicago, IL, with the opening of Bronzeville Lighthouse Charter School as well as two other schools in northwest Indiana (East Chicago Lighthouse and West Gary Lighthouse)
  2. Charter School Facility Management begins operations
2007
  1. The first annual Lighthouse Network Summit is held at University of Illinois, Chicago
  2. A second Lighthouse school opens in Indianapolis, Indiana (Monument Lighthouse)
2008
  1. Our first Lighthouse school, the Bronx Lighthouse Charter School, receives an A on the New York City progress report (and again in 2009).
2009
  1. Lighthouse opens Jacksonville Lighthouse Charter School in Jacksonville, Arkansas
  2. The first Lighthouse College Prep Academies open in Gary and Indianapolis
  3. Lighthouse Academies enrolls 4,300 students and has close to 500 staff members
  4. College Ready Now is founded
2010
  1. Lighthouse Academies receives the first ever charter granted to an outside management organization from Milwaukee Public Schools
  2. Pine Bluff Lighthouse, the second Lighthouse school in Arkansas, is approved and set to open in 2011
  3. The third College Prep Academy opens in Gary, IN
  4. Metropolitan Lighthouse Charter School opens in Bronx, NY
2011
  1. Pine Bluff Lighthouse Charter School opens in Pine Bluff, AR
  2. Jacksonville Lighthouse Charter School opens the Flightline Campus to house the expansion of its Upper Academy
  3. Three more Lighthouse College Prep Academies open in Bronx, NY and Indianapolis and East Chicago, IN,making Lighthouse Academies a national network of 19 charter schools in 4 states plus the District of Columbia

  1. Tulsa Lighthouse Charter School opens in Tulsa, OK
  2. North Point Lighthouse Charter School opens in Milwaukee, WI
