ecclesineMs. Peggyanne Ecclesine

Ms. Peggyanne Ecclesine is the Chief Academic Officer for Lighthouse Academies. Ms. Ecclesine has been actively involved with the charter school movement nationally since 1996.  She was a founding team member at two charter schools in Massachusetts. She was a classroom teacher, literacy coach and Regional Education Director for a charter management organization prior to joining LHA in 2003. At LHA, Ms. Ecclesine served as the Director of Talent Development and the Director of Curriculum for K-8.  Ms. Ecclesine graduated from Providence College and received a Masters of Arts from Teachers College at Columbia University.

Ms. Aubrey Goodman

Ms. Aubrey Goodman is the Director of Curriculum and Assessment for K-8 for Lighthouse Academies.  She started her career as a Teach For America corps member teaching in Chicago Public Schools.  She went on to teach in Nairobi, Kenya and then in Boston Public Schools where she designed and implemented the English Language Arts curriculum for a new 4th and 5th grade combination class.  She worked as a Curriculum Developer for Kaplan K12 Learning Services, where she designed English Language Arts courses for large urban school districts in accordance with state standards and assessments.  Ms. Goodman holds a B.A. from Yale University as well as a M. Ed. In Education Policy and Management from Harvard Graduate School of Education.

Mr. John P. Marshall

Mr. John P. Marshall is the Director of Curriculum and Assessment for grades 9-12 for Lighthouse Academies.  Before his current role, Mr. Marshall taught AP United States history at a public high school in New Jersey, where he also served as a coach, advisor, curriculum writer, and mentor teacher.  Mr. Marshall was also a founding partner of an educational consulting firm which specialized in after school program design and simulation experiences.  Mr. Marshall is an alumnus of the Education Pioneers fellowship program and holds a standard teaching certificate in Social Studies.   He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with honors in Government with a Citation in Romance Language from Harvard University and a Master of Business Administration degree with honors from the University of Notre Dame.
