Mr. Scott Hamilton
Chairman of the Board
Mr. Scott W. Hamilton is a Managing Partner at Seton Education Partners. Previously, he was a Senior Research Fellow at the Thomas B. Fordham Institute.  Prior to that, he was the Managing Director of the Pisces Foundation. In this role, he created the KIPP Foundation and served as its President and CEO. Previously, Mr. Hamilton served as Associate Commissioner of Education in Massachusetts, establishing and overseeing the Bay State's pioneering charter school initiative. He also held posts at the White House, the Edison Project during its R&D phase, and the Hudson Institute. Mr. Hamilton serves on the boards of the KIPP Foundation, the California Charter School Association, the National Alliance for Public Charter Schools, and Lighthouse Academies.  He received his degree in Ancient Greek from the University of Pennsylvania.  Mr. Hamilton is the Chairman of the Lighthouse Academies Board of Directors.

Mr. Ken Blacklow
Mr. Ken Blacklow is a partner at The Cue Group, a management consulting firm.  He served as the Chief Operating Officer for Management Leadership for Tomorrow, a national non-profit dedicated to increasing the presence of minorities in entry-level jobs as well as business graduate schools as preparation for business and community leadership positions, for three years.  Prior to his work at Management Leadership for Tomorrow, Mr. Blacklow managed events and partnerships for NBA Japan, Inc.  He worked in operations management for three years at HealthFirst Inc.  Mr. Blacklow holds a BA from Harvard College and a Master of Public Administration from Columbia University.  Mr. Blacklow has served on the Board of Trustees for Bronx Lighthouse Charter School since 2004.

Dr. Linda Hargan
Dr. Linda F. Hargan is the founder and CEO of the Collaborative for Teaching and Learning in Louisville, Kentucky. Prior to her work at the Collaborative, she served as Associate Commissioner for the Office of Learning Programs Development with the Kentucky Department of Education, where she directed the five divisions of the office.  She has also served in other positions in state government including Associate Superintendent of Public Instruction, State Director for Special Education, and Regional Consultant in reading and special education.  Ms. Hargan has a B.S., a Masters in Education, and a Doctor of Education from the University of Louisville.

Mr. David Harris
Mr. David Harris is the President and CEO of The Mind Trust.  Previously, Mr. Harris served as Mayor Peterson’s Charter Schools Director, where he built one of the nation’s most highly regarded charter school offices. Previously, Mr. Harris served as an Assistant Deputy Mayor for Planning. From 1997 to 1999, Mr. Harris practiced law with the Indianapolis firm of Baker & Daniels. He received a bachelor’s degree in political science from Northwestern University in 1992 and a law degree from Indiana University School of Law in 1997. Mr. Harris serves on the boards of the Nicholas H. Noyes Jr. Memorial Foundation, the RCA Tennis Championships, and Ivy Tech Community College of Central Indiana.

Ms. Elizabeth Holland
Ms. Elizabeth Holland is the Chief Executive Officer of Abbell Credit Corporation, a sixty-year old private real estate investment, development and management company with an approximately 2 million/sf portfolio, comprised of shopping center, office, and enclosed mall properties.  She is responsible for overseeing all business and legal matters, including development, financing, leasing, capital improvements, and investor and tenant relations.  Ms. Holland is active in the International Council of Shopping Centers, currently serving as a Member of the Board of Trustees and as Central Division Vice President.  Other Board memberships include Vice Chair Development Partners of Uptown United; Business and Professional People for the Public Interest (BPI); and 1,000 Friends of Iowa.  Ms. Holland holds a J.D. from Brooklyn Law School and a B.A. from Hamilton College.

Mr. Michael Ronan
Mr. Michael Ronan is the President and CEO of Lighthouse Academies, Inc. He has provided management and consulting services to charter schools and school districts nationwide since 1997.  He has been directly involved with the management of 50 charter schools including 25 start-up schools.  He brings to the team a great deal of experience in urban charter school planning and development. His areas of expertise include curriculum, school leadership, finance and operations.

Mr. Ronan began his career as a middle school history teacher and later served as a Director of Curriculum and Instruction and School Superintendent.  He is a summa cum laude graduate of the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts and holds a Master's degree in School Administration from that school, as well as a Master's degree in Program Planning and Evaluation from the State University of New York at Albany.

Ms. Natalie Weiss
Ms. Natalie Weiss is the Director of Finance and Operations for Open Books, a nonprofit bookstore, literacy community center and volunteer corps dedicated to raising awareness about illiteracy, improving reading skills and spreading the love of books in Chicago and beyond.  Ms. Weiss previously served as the Chief Operating Officer and Director of School Supports for the Illinois Network of Charter Schools (INCS) where she worked to improve the quality of education throughout Illinois by providing statewide advocacy, increased public awareness and essential school support services for charter schools.  Ms. Weiss went to INCS through a fellowship program with NewSchools Venture Fund where she had been a Senior Analyst.  Ms. Weiss began her career at the Consulting Firm Cornerstone Research as an Analyst.  She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania. Ms. Weiss is also the Treasurer of the Board of Trustees of Bronzeville Lighthouse Charter School.
