Lighthouse Academies launched a new, more dynamic and user-friendly website as part of a branding effort to clearly communicate the message of the charter school network along with all of its schools. The user can easily find information about the national organization, the schools, as well as the rigorous, arts-infused program that is preparing all of the students nationwide for college and beyond. The website is meant to inform as well as portray life of students and staff at Lighthouse Academies’ schools.
The website was created by Iron Creative Communications, an experienced agency out of San Francisco, CA. Lighthouse Academies, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that develops and supports the operations of public charter schools in underserved communities throughout the United States. LHA distinguishes itself as a charter management organization (CMO) using an arts-infused, K-12 college prep program funded solely on per pupil revenue to achieve its mission. LHA is the only CMO that offers a truly replicable, K-12, multi-state model. The network currently consists of 19 schools in 5 states and the District of Columbia, and approximately 650 staff members.
The mission is to prepare our students for college through a rigorous arts-infused program. The vision is that all students will be taught by a highly effective teacher in a nurturing environment and will achieve at high levels. Each student will develop the knowledge, skills and values necessary for responsible citizenship and lifelong learning. The impact of our collective efforts will fundamentally change public education.
