Principal

Richard Burke

After working in politics and the business world, Mr. Burke started teaching in 1995 and then moved into school leadership. He has served as Principal, Executive Director, Chief Instructional Officer, and Chief Operating Officer at St. Aloysius School, The Bronx Charter School for Better Learning, and Ross Global Academy Charter School. Rick earned his BS in Finance from Georgetown University and Masters in Education from Pepperdine University.
Director of Instruction

Diane Hardcastle

Ms. Hardcastle taught Special Education and served as the Special Education Liaison in Philadelphia as a member of Teach For America. Most recently, she worked for Uncommon Schools, serving as a Math Specialist at Excellence Boys Charter School and then at North Star Academy as the Director of College Placement. As the Director of College Placement, Dianne ensured 100% of graduating students enrolled into a 4-year college, including the school’s first ever enrollment into an Ivy-League school. Ms. Hardcastle earned her BA in Political Science from California Polytechnic State University and her MEd in Elementary and Special Education from Chestnut Hill College.
