Principal

Jamie Brady

Jamie Brady
Mrs. Brady has been the principal of Monument Lighthouse Charter School for three years and a school leader for eight years. She has an additional eight years of teaching experience including grades three through six and Title I. Mrs. Brady was a recipient of the Indianapolis Public Schools’ Above and Beyond the Call of Duty Award and served as the Head Basketball Coach for fourth and fifth grade boys and girls teams for six years. Mrs. Brady holds a BS in Education from Indiana University and a Masters in Education from Indiana Wesleyan University. She also completed the Principal Licensure Program at Indiana Wesleyan University.
Director of Instruction, Mathematics

Kim Randall

Mrs. Randall has more than 28 years experience in education, either as a teacher or Director of Instruction. She graduated from Ball State University with a Bachelor’s degree in education, and IUPUI with a Master’s degree in education. She has since continued her education at Marian University because she believes in lifelong learning. Mrs. Randall was a mentor with the Indiana Department of Education for 10 years, helping and supporting teachers complete their licensing. She has taught grades K-3 and 6-8 and loves being a part of each child’s learning. She also enjoys supporting teachers in their efforts to reach and teach each child.
Director of Instruction, ELA

Keith Story

Mr. Story holds a Bachelor’s degree in Education from Ball State University as well as a degree in Elementary Education from Calumet College of St. Joesph. He has taught grades K-6 and currently holds the position of Upper Academy Director of Instruction. Mr. Story has been with Lighthouse Academies since 2005 serving as a founding teacher at both Indianapolis Lighthouse Charter School and Monument Lighthouse Charter School. Additionally, Mr. Story has received the Network Top Gainer award in Mathematics four out of his five years as a teacher. In addition to a proven track record of growth in student achievement, Mr. Story also led our JV and Varsity basketball teams to win consecutive city championships in the 2009-2010 school year. He dedicates much of his time mentoring and tutoring the scholars of MLCS.
Director of School Culture

Joseph Jefferson

Mr. Jefferson holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Leadership from Indiana Institute of Technology. He has devoted four years of service within the Indianapolis Public School (IPS) system. During his employment with IPS, he served one year as the Instructor of In-School Suspension (ISS) at John Marshall Community High School, and the other three years as a loyal substitute teacher. While substituting, Mr. Jefferson also served as a mentor for Campbell’s Family Services and a case manager for Family Empowerment Support Services (F.E.S.S.). Aside from mentoring, Mr. Jefferson also spends his time as a football coach at Broad Ripple High School, as well as volunteering for Dad’s club and other youth clubs in Indianapolis. Prior to working in education, Mr. Jefferson was a professional football player for four years with the Indianapolis Colts.
